ABOUT THE CREATORS OF TICK OFF TO TAKE OFF

Tick Off to Take Off was created by the Centre for International Exchange and Development (CIED) at Keele University in the summer of 2005 and autumn of 2006.

Dr Erica Arthur, Keele’s Study Abroad Manager, is the project manager, content author and creative director of Tick Off to Take Off. Debra Smith from Bowling Green State University, one of Keele’s Partner Universities, interned at CIED during the summer of 2005 and helped with the inital design and development of the web site. The content consultant, Dr Annette Kratz, is the Head of CIED.

Chu Yu-I, an MSc student in Information Technology at Keele University (2004-2005), assisted with initial web design, but Tick Off to Take Off would not have been possible without the technical expertise of Tino Brunzel, an intern from the University of Applied Sciences, Stralsund, Germany. Tino interned at CIED in Semester 1 2006. Jason Holroyd, a graphic design student and freelance artist based in Nottingham, is the original illustration designer for the web site.
